NEW JOB!

After only 5weeks of looking I've managed to get a job yay me!

I'll be working in Bristol city center, so train or car both will be expensive. It's working for a company called Innogistic Software Plc, apparently I'll be working on something to do with distribution of Fire fighting hardware?? It pays better than the last place which it has to because of the distance I'll be traveling, and it's a six month contract but then again so was Source and I stayed there for 18 months.

so once again...

YAY ME!!!

  • Wife has opened her own on-line shop selling Gothic and occult stuff.
  • I've found the joy of Portable Apps.
  • XNA Creators has launched the new site in Beta.
  • I've started looking at how I can convert Dodge to work on the Xbox360.
  • I've been working on the Editor for my Big Game.
  • I've been working on a few ideas for my CMS application.

People to see Things to do...

After My last post I got what I was waiting for and now I can reveal that I have quit my job to take up a new position, why such a secret? I didn't want my boss reading this before I had the contract for my new job, simple as.

Wednesday was fun, spoke to some nice people at LGF:Skills Week and I'm still hopeful about getting a Games job. Seeing as I'm too old to go back to collage the plan is this, I'll give myself until Halloween 2008 to put together a portfolio of work that I can use to apply for jobs. If I fail to get enough work together for a portfolio I'll give up trying to get a job and make do with whatever I build for fun.

So I'll be blogging what I've been up to in this little project of mine, I still need to work out my plan/schedule for what I want to present and how best to do it, but for now I'll just have to go with watch this space.
